'Style in the City' Charity Fashion Show
Our Commercial Broker, Tracy Lloyd recently attended this glamorous event at the Hilton hotel in Manchester as a guest of Zurich. The star-studded fashion show hosted by The Manchester Insurance Institute in June raised £18,000 for The Christie cancer centre.
A host of celebrities added a touch of glamour to the show. Michelle Collins, who has recently joined Coronation Street along with former soap star Johnny Briggs, Antony Audenshaw from Emmerdale, Sherrie Hewson from Loose Women and voice of the X Factor Peter Dickson all gave their support.
On the day, employees from insurance companies across Manchester modelled a range of partywear while professional models sashayed down the catwalk in swimwear, summer wear and cruise wear kindly donated by House of Fraser.
The money raised will help fund The Christie’s wig service where volunteer hairdressers attend the centre and provide women with help and support to deal with hair loss through cancer treatment.
