Colin began his insurance career at Cornhill (now Allianz) in Birmingham in 1965 before the days of computer screens and even calculators!! He has worked in various roles including underwriting, sales and management which have taken him to London, back to Birmingham, Liverpool, Chester, Leeds and Manchester before returning to Liverpool to join Coulter Hurst as Commercial Broker in 2001. Colin became a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (F.C.I.I.) before most of his present colleagues were born and recently added another string to his bow by gaining the National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (NEBOSH).
He has 3 grown up children and 1 grandson and is a keen skier (SKI – Spending the Kids Inheritance). Outside work Colin likes to get out into the fresh air as much as possible particularly to enjoy long days in the lake district fells. Sporting interests include the "Baggies" (West Bromwich Albion) and Sale Sharks.
