Overseas Holiday Homes

We have noticed that many of our clients are now buying holiday homes abroad. Insuring your holiday home can be daunting when faced with a foreign language, local regulations and market practice which can differ greatly from the UK. One of our major insurer partners; Hiscox can help by ensuring your property is fully covered. Their policy has the following attractive features to give you peace of mind:

• Theft cover remains in force even when your property is left unoccupied

Private Medical Insurance

Providing individual Healthcare protection is an important service for our client’s well-being. We are fortunate to be able to offer the services of our Healthcare brokers who can advise our clients on the most suitable private medical insurance policies with insurers such as Axa PPP Healthcare, BUPA, BCWA, PruHealth, Norwich Union and Standard Life, all of whom we act as agents for. All enquiries are handled in the strictest confidence and all claims are dealt with between insurer and patient to honour that confidentiality.

Face to face visits

From time to time, particularly when arranging or renewing their household insurance policies clients like one of our brokers or directors to visit their home or call in to see us here. This is a very important service we offer which often gives the client peace of mind and an opportunity to discuss and resolve their concerns and for us to recognise their needs. Such visits, where appropriate, can be arranged and again our retail brokers are happy to organise at your convenience.

Many of our clients now own Park Homes, Chalets, Static or Touring Caravans or Motor Homes, as somewhere to escape to (or in!) at weekends and holidays. Provided they are situated on registered sites we are now able to arrange full insurance cover, including on the contents within, through a specialist broker at competitive rates. Cover on Touring Caravans and Motor Homes can be extended to the Continent.

For our Private Motor Insurance clients, we are now able to offer breakdown cover with the RAC at competitive terms. Clients can choose from three different levels of cover on their vehicle; Roadside Assistance Only; Roadside Assistance and At Home; or Full Cover including Onward Travel and European Breakdown. Quotations and cover can be obtained and arranged on-line, by our brokers, with speed and withour fuss.

Motor Insurance

At Coulter Hurst & Co we are very proud to have the service of some very experienced motor brokers with substantial underwriting knowledge. Through market research we have found the majority of our clients prefer the personal service, we give, to the more remote advice and administration sometimes offered by our competitors.
