Colin Hackett

Commercial Broker

After more years than he is prepared to admit to, in a variety of roles (underwriting, sales and management) and locations including Birmingham (twice), Liverpool, Chester, Leeds and Manchester, with a commercial insurer, Colin claims to have "finally found a job I wanted to stick with" when he joined Coulter Hurst as a Commercial Broker in 2001. Colin specialises in Legal Indemnities and to add another string to his bow he gained recently the National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (NEBOSH).

Outside of work Colin likes to get out into the fresh air as much as possible whether it's a few minutes attacking the garden or a few hours yomping in the lake district fells. A lifelong "Baggies" (West Bromwich Albion) supporter - he can remember when they used to beat Liverpool AND Everton in the same season - but these days Colin is a convert to the oval ball game and, as a result, a Sale season ticket holder!
