Darren O'Brien

Commercial Director

Darren started his career in insurance as an underwriter at Municipal Mutual in 1987. In 1994 he qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and joined Mason Owen Financial Services. In 1999 he moved to Coulter Hurst & Co and in 2002 he was appointed Commercial Director of the company. He has been a Chartered Insurance Broker since 2001. Earlier this year Darren qualified as an Associate Member of the Institute of Leadership and Management.

Darren likes to spend his free time with his family. His interests include music (he is an accomplished pianist) attending the gym, and supporting Manchester United FC (he would have to be different!).
