Derek has a number of years experience in the Insurance Industry, staring his career at Norwich Union in Liverpool in 1987, before joining Robinsons Insurance Brokers in 1995, and then Coulter Hurst in 2000. Derek specialises in working with high net worth clients and also has considerable experience within the motor insurance market. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to alternative music and is a dedicated supporter of Everton Football Club.
